   Country Acres Retreat is a rustic cabin, nestled in a grove of white pines in Garrett County, Maryland, and sleeps up to 12 persons. 

    It is a fully insulated, electrically heated cabin for year-round enjoyment, located in the scenic Appalachian mountains of western Maryland.

    Available within a few hundred feet, if needed, is a pavilion with picnic tables, chairs, charcoal grill, and a campfire circle of large rocks for relaxation, story-telling or reminiscing.  

    This 3-4 bedroom getaway offers quiet seclusion overlooking a picturesque, two-acre lake at the former Country Acres Strawberry Farm on Foxtown Road, but is only 10 minutes from popular Deep Creek Lake and Accident, Maryland.  Its location on a farm offers quiet times of relaxation, yet it is only 5-7 miles by paved road to Foodland Fresh and other groceries, gas stations, a theater, a golf course, ski slopes, restaurants and more.  Some of these amenities are open round the clock.
